40% concentration cuts storage volume by roughly 20% against AUS 32 — precious space on any vessel. Alkalinity, biuret and trace metals are controlled to ISO 18611.

How is AUS 40 different from AdBlue® (AUS 32)?

AdBlue® is 32.5% urea to ISO 22241 for road diesel. AUS 40 is 40% urea to ISO 18611, designed for high-output marine SCR systems — the higher concentration reduces the storage volume carried aboard.

Which emissions rules does AUS 40 serve?

IMO MARPOL Annex VI Tier III NOx limits, which apply to vessels operating in NECA/ECA emission control areas. Your SCR maker’s type approval states the fluid standard it was certified on.

How does Madin control quality?
